We build tech for social good
Hack4Impact believes in technology’s huge potential to empower activists and humanitarians to create lasting and impactful social change. We work to foster the wider adoption of software as a tool for social good.
Our Mission
Hack4Impact exists for both nonprofits and students. We connect student software developers with nonprofits and socially responsible organizations to develop powerful new tools for social change to help further their mission. We are committed to increasing awareness of technology's potential for good through talks and workshops.
Our Values
Go Beyond Technology
Technology impacts people. We seek to educate ourselves about the implications of technology on various communities while making mindful decisions about the potential impact of the projects that we develop.
Community and Collaboration
Through a tight-knit community, we strive to help each other learn and grow in the social impact and engineering space. Connect with local members, alums, and people from across the country with varied interests, skills, and passions.
High Accountability
Development can be hard. We push ourselves to overcome the barriers of development through high accountability. This means producing high-quality work in a timely fashion, to the best of our ability.
